Amidst the 17 degree weather, some snow decided to grace us with its falling. NOT ENOUGH CAME. I had faith that the clouds would be generous and give us enough snow for a half day at school...it never happened. My hopes were crushed some time right before lunch when I realized we were still in school. Oh well.
AMY IS PLAYING AT MY SCHOOL TOMORROW. FDKLGFDKMFGKLFDGMKLDF. The excitement's just kicking in, despite the annoying situation of who gets to see her. Whatever. It'll all work out. :) But like.....it's real. Agh!
Random fact: I hate that I get so bothered and stuck on the tiniest things.
And now...I leave you with this:
Found
Letters put together
Like yellows and blues
Painting a picture of truth
My canvas: a page
A promising escape
And I’m going under
The hues are sincere
Pieced together, so clear
My emotions,
So jumbled before
Assembled like a puzzle
Rough and fragmented
In its perfection
My heart sprinkled
On the page
No need to stay within the lines
Much better than dreaming
A reason for believing
From the sidelines,
Yet in the game
All the same
A world, all mine
In the crevices of time
Please don’t pull me away
And THAT, my friends, is a cliche, half-assed poem I had to write for my AP Lang (Language and Composition) class which I conjured up the night before it was due. Excuse me, the morning before it was due (I'm standing firmly beside my belief that I write my best at absurd times like 2am). :) I got a pretty little "check plus!" on it (note that it didn't actually say "check plus"...it has a check AND a plus....)! HOLLA. Check plus= A+.
OH, and if you were wondering, my friends and I never did go ice skating OR have a "wii fit" party the other day. :/ HERE'S TO SOME DAY!
